Family and science in the Arctic aboard the Vagabond

Éric, France and their two daughters have been exploring the polar regions for over twenty-five years. Through summer voyages and a dozen winters spent living alongside Inuit communities, they have put their polar sailing boat Vagabond at the service of some sixty scientific projects. Remaining faithful to their initial project – to provide a logistical base for polar research – they have learned to live in the Arctic and continue to support the scientific community.

The film Groenland, les frissons de la terre (Greenland, The Earth’s Shivers) will be broadcast on Ushuaia TV on Tuesday, January 27 at 8:50 pm. This new documentary recounts Vagabond's latest expedition: a three-year project in Narsaq region, supported by IPEV.

A 52' film by Pierre Petit and Christophe Raylat, with the participation of France Pinczon du Sel and Éric Brossier, produced by Baptiste Brunner - Wide Groupe, co-produced and broadcast by UshuaiaTV.
