Eric is contributing to the creation of La Guilde's new History & Explorations grant, supported by Hubert Sagnières. It will support projects with a historical dimension that seek to understand the past in order to better project themselves into the future. Total funding for one or more projects: €15,000.
France and Eric invited aboard Exploris One for a great southern loop.
The Manguier, on board which we sailed through the North-East Passage in 2009, and met in 2019 at Akunnaaq, sank in Greenland on December 13, 2024. A call for donations is on going to refloat the vessel.
Participation in the Tara Polar Station seminar organized in Cherbourg from December 16 to 19 with the scientific consortium of the polar base under construction. Visit to the construction site and fruitful exchanges with some forty scientists in preparation for the first Arctic drift, Tara Polaris I.
