Family and science in the Arctic aboard the Vagabond

Éric, France and their two daughters have been exploring the polar regions for over twenty-five years. Through summer voyages and a dozen winters spent living alongside Inuit communities, they have put their polar sailing boat Vagabond at the service of some sixty scientific projects. Remaining faithful to their initial project – to provide a logistical base for polar research – they have learned to live in the Arctic and continue to support the scientific community.

Amixem and Yvan are sharing their stay on board Tara Polar Station in Finland: 24 hours stuck in Arctic ice (74 minutes documentary film).
